Families in Pierce County rely on a network of early childhood supports that help them navigate resources, receive care, and feel supported during the earliest days of a child’s life. Pierce County Early Childhood Network (PCECN) and Family Connects Pierce County are central to that work, connecting families to services and offering voluntary postpartum nurse visits when support matters most.
This legislative session, we are asking the state to protect and sustain its seven-year investment in this coordinated system so it can continue serving families, caregivers, and communities across Pierce County and Washington.
Advocacy Day may have passed, but the work to support children and families continues throughout legislative session.
One of the most meaningful ways to take action right now is by sharing your voice with Pierce County legislators as budget decisions take shape. Personal stories and expressions of support help decision makers understand why protecting Pierce County Early Childhood Network (PCECN) and Family Connects matters.
Clicking the button below will open an email with a template to make it easy to share your story and support with Pierce County legislators.
If you’re able, including the legislative district you live or work in can help ground your message in place. We encourage you to personalize the message based on your own experience or connection to this work.
